Biography
Professor Lacey is the former Executive Dean (2019-2022) of the Faculty of Business, Government & Law at the University of Canberra. She was previously the Dean of Law at the University of South Australia, where she held multiple leadership roles from 2007-2019. With broad expertise in Australian public law and human rights, her principal areas of current research and advocacy are human rights and social policy in aged care and disability. She is an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Canberra and works as a consultant, advocate and non-executive director.
