Biography
Dr Rosalind Mason is an Adjunct Professor of Law, QUT Faculty of Business & Law, Brisbane. As a scholar, Professor Mason specialised in cross-border insolvency law as well as personal insolvency law. Much of her research has been doctrinal, examining the intersection of private international law and insolvency law. As a tertiary law teacher and a law school leader, she also published on legal education. Throughout her career, Rosalind maintained close links with professional legal, accounting and insolvency associations. She was Chair of the INSOL International Academics’ Group and a longstanding member of the Law Council of Australia’s Insolvency & Reconstruction Committee. She is a member of the International Insolvency Institute and served on the Board and its Membership Committee. In 2017 supported by QUT, Rosalind initiated the Ian Fletcher International Insolvency Law Moot, which continues under the auspices of its sponsors, INSOL International and the International Insolvency Institute.
